Coaching, not medical care
Built for Motherhood provides fitness and healthy-habit coaching and general educational information. Nothing on this website or in our programs is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace care from your physician, midwife or other qualified healthcare provider. Our guidance never supersedes recommendations from your healthcare provider. If anything we suggest conflicts with your provider's advice, follow your provider.
Provider clearance is required
You must have clearance from your healthcare provider to exercise before starting any program, and you should check in with your provider again if your health changes. Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve physical changes that should be evaluated by a professional.
About Paige's credentials
Paige Pitts is a Registered Nurse, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified nutrition coach. Built for Motherhood coaching services are not nursing services, and working with us does not create a nurse-patient or provider-patient relationship.
Paige is not a registered dietitian or licensed nutritionist. Meal ideas, recipes, grocery lists and macro or portion guidance are general, non-medical education for healthy adults. They are not medical nutrition therapy and are not intended to treat any condition. If you have a medical condition, food allergies, a history of gestational diabetes or disordered eating, or questions about breastfeeding or milk supply, please work with your physician, a registered dietitian or an IBCLC lactation consultant.
Stop and seek care
Stop exercising and contact your healthcare provider if you experience symptoms such as heavy or increased vaginal bleeding, chest pain, shortness of breath before exertion, dizziness or fainting, headache, calf pain or swelling, pelvic pain or pressure, fluid leakage, or any symptom that concerns you. In an emergency, call 911.
If you are experiencing persistent sadness, anxiety, or thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, please contact your healthcare provider right away. You can also call or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262), or call or text 988.
